About our business

Sweet Treats provides quality homemade ice cream.  We use fresh fruits and make all of our homemade ice cream on site.  Mike and Jan Miller started this business to give customers a place to enjoy their ice cream and to meet and visit with their friends and neighbors. 

Any evening May through September you will find the back yard filled with families enjoying the ice cream and conversation. 

Sweet Treats introduced homemade ice cream to the Hamilton County Fair during the 2009 county fair.          Des Moines Farmers' Market in the summer of 2010.    Ames Main Street Farmers' Market in the summer of 2011.  Lynn Creek Art Festival and Ames Art Festival 2011.     Annual Kamar Car Show and Cruise to the Woods 2011
